Keep it Simple
If you anything like me, you run for cover every time you hear the word project. Projects can be daunting because they seem like such a huge undertaking when you are just getting started. So naturally my stomach started churning when I realized what I had just done.

Beauty of the idea
My first attempt at designing the look of my application was ugly. Looking at it now makes me ashamed that I could ever have come up with something like this. No wonder a friend thought my app was just an inventory. Shame, it was trying hard not to be.

Magenta may be my favorite color
If you google ChemCount now you may find my app name fourth or fifth on the list. I’m really proud of this because I thought long and hard about a name for this app. And after many “google searches” I settled on ChemCount. Designing an app icon was equally challenging.
